What AegisX stops
Each request is checked in several ways. Most bad traffic is dropped at the first check; what is left never reaches your server.
HTTP floods
Thousands of requests a second from many addresses. Limits per visitor and per page cut them off, and attack mode turns on when a flood starts.
Bots and scrapers
Scripts that copy your prices, post spam through your forms or fill carts to hold stock. They are recognised by how they behave, not by what they claim to be.
Password guessing
Repeated attempts on a login form are slowed down, then blocked. Your customers can still sign in.
Web attacks

Do I need to move my website?
No. Your site stays where it is. You point the domain to AegisX and we forward clean traffic to your server.
Will visitors have to solve a captcha?
Most never see anything. A check is shown only to traffic that looks automated, or to every new visitor while you have attack mode on.
Will it affect my search rankings?
No. Real search engine crawlers are verified and let through.
What if I am attacked and go over my plan?
Nothing happens to your bill. Blocked traffic is not counted.
